HELX AV, the sole UK & Ireland dealer for Bell helicopters, has announced it will showcase the latest aircraft in the Jet Ranger series at Cardiff Heliport.
The Bell Jet Ranger X505 is described as “The New Industry Leader” for five seat helicopters and is designed for safety, efficiency and reliability incorporationg advanced avionics and a dual FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) system.
The aircraft will be showcased on Saturday 1st September from 9:30am to midday and those wishing to fly in to see the aircraft can take advantage of free landing fees and a reduced fuel rate of just 71.43p + VAT per litre for Jet A1.
Wales Air Ambulance Chief Executive Officer Angela Hughes, which operates Cardiff Heliport, said: “This is a very exciting event to be hosted by HELX at the heliport, the first event since Welsh Air Ambulance Trading Ltd took over the lease of the site. Any profits made from the heliport go straight to the Charity, so every penny goes towards funding our lifesaving work.”
