This Saturday sees the 2nd Thomas Cook pilots strike in the ongoing dispute over pay.

It has been called by members of the British Airline Pilots Association (BALPA) as no agreement has been reached between the Union and Thomas Cook despite lengthy talks via arbitrators, ACAS.

Expressing frustration at Thomas Cooks’ stance BALPA General Secretary, Brian Strutton, said: “Whilst both sides have compromised there is still a considerable gap. Regrettably this means the strike on Saturday goes ahead.” adding “We understand this strike will affect people’s travel plans, something which we deeply regret.”

As a result of the strike, Thomas Cook has issued a revised flight schedule for Saturday the 23rd September. Find out if your flight is affected using the list below.

The good news for Welsh passengers is that Thomas Cook flights from Cardiff Airport are operated by Avion Express so are unaffected by the action.

BALPA has confirmed tomorrow’s strike will be held over 24 hours, from 00.01 to 23.59. For real-time flight information click here
