Brazilian OEM Embraer has seen a 33% increase in aircraft deliveries in Quarter 3 of 2024 compared to last year.
Q3 saw it deliver 57 aircraft, including 16 E-Jets, compared to just 43 last year in the same period.
Private and Business jets made up the core of the deliveries with Embraer’s Phenom and Praetor range seeing 41 aircraft delivered to customers.
Ten E195-2, two E190-2 and four E175 made up the commercial airliner deliveries. Customers included Irish aviation leasing specialist Aercap along with Helvetic, Royal Jordanian and Virgin Australia.
The E195-E2 currently has an order backlog of 172 aircraft while the E190-E2 has 27. The E175 has a backlog of 175. This means the commercial aircraft backlog value stands at $11.1bn.
Embraer also delivered two C-390 Millennium military transport aircraft during the period to the Hungarian Air Force and Brazilian Air Force.
Company wide, Embraer has firm orders worth $22.7bn on its books, 25% higher than the same point last year.
