Embraer orders take-off thanks to SkyWest’s 60 aircraft order

SkyWest Inc has placed a firm order with the Brazilian OEM for 60 aircraft at the 55th Paris Airshow.

The order for the Embraer E175 will add to SkyWest’s current backlog of aircraft on order from Embraer bringing their total backlog to 76.

Skywest owns and operates 263 aircraft making it the largest owner operator of the type in the world.

This order enables us to advance our long-term fleet strategy and to continue to deliver the premier regional product in the industry.”

Embraer has been displaying the E195-E2 at the Paris airshow with its famous ‘Profit Hunter’ livery demonstrating how economic the aircraft is for airlines to operating.
