Loganair (LM/LOG) has today launched its Edinburgh (EDI/EGPH) to Cardiff (CWL/EGFF) air link with the first flight between the two capitals taking off today.
The 1hr 20min flight replaces vital service that was lost with the collapse of regional airline Flybe.
Loganair will operate the route using a 49-seat Embraer RJ145 regional jet and prices start at £50.99 one way.

It is vital that connectivity is maintained between these two major cities and we know it will prove very popular with both our leisure and business travellers.”
