easyJet, including low-cost airline and easyJet Holidays has recorded a 34% increase in its annual profits.

The year to September shows a Pre-tax profit of £610 million compared to the previous 12 months which saw a profit of £455 million.

During that period easyJet carried 7% more passengers, a total of 89.7 million across its network.

Much of the profit increase comes from strong demand for its package holiday deals through easyJet Holidays which saw profits of £190 million for the year, more than double the previous 12 months.

Chief financial officer Kenton Jarvis said the results showed “the effectiveness and execution of our strategy as well as continued popularity of our flights and holidays” adding “It also represents a significant step towards our goal of sustainably generating over £1 billion annual profit before tax.”

Kenton Jarvis takes over as Chief Executive of easyJet on the 1st of January 2025.
