Eastern Airways (T3/EZE) has said it will be increasing capacity by 25% on the popular Humberside to Newquay route for the long bank holiday weekend for the Queen’s Jubilee.

Prompted by a surge in bookings for the 4 day weekend, the airline is upscaling the aircraft to an ATR72-600 in both directions on services running on Friday 3rd June and Monday 6th June.

There will also be an additional service on Thursday 2nd June.

“Identifying opportunities to improve or expand our service to customers is at the forefront of what Eastern do” said Eastern Airways General Manager Roger Hage. “The extended bank holiday and additional celebrations that come with the Platinum Jubilee are an excuse for many members of the public to get away and enjoy time with family and friends”

The Humberside to Newquay route commenced on 1st April.
