Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA/EGCN) is officially open again from today as Wizz Air resumes operations from the Northern regional airport.
Wizz Air will operate 3 flights from the airport today to Riga, Krakow and Vilnius first flight leaving at 17:55 local time.
The airport has put in place strict measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus including making the wearing of face coverings mandatory for all passengers 11 and over, from the moment passengers enter the terminal building until they exit the terminal building at the destination airport.
Passengers arriving without a face covering, personal protective equipment packs will be able to buy a PPE pack for £5 on entry to the airport. which includes 2 face masks, 2 packs of anti-bacterial wipes, and 2 sets of Vinyl gloves.
Although Wizz Air will be the only airline flying at DSA at the moment, it is hoped TUI will resume flights later in the Summer.
