Iberia Express have announced they will begin direct flights from Cardiff Airport (CWL/EGFF) to Madrid (MAD/LEMD) next summer.
The Spanish national carrier will be the first link between the two capitals and will operate twice weekly on a Thursday and Sunday.
The flight will give Welsh travellers access to the Spanish capital and all of its inviting things to see and do such as the beautifully manicured parks and of course, an opportunity to see Welsh football star Gareth Bale at his home club of Real Madrid.
Iberia Express is the low-cost arm of national carrier Iberia. It operates a fleet of modern Airbus A320 & A321 aircraft.
Flights will be available initially for Easter 2017 and resuming in June 2017 but are available to book from October 27th.
