Romance is in the air this valentines day and a recent twitter post by KLM leaves us wondering if KLM could be hinting at a deal with Virgin Atlantic.
Guess who’s in love with us? 😉 (@VirginAtlantic) #ValentinesDay pic.twitter.com/S6gzCk81T0

The tweet which appeared today shows a valentines card to the Dutch Airline from Virgin Atlantic being posted and KLM went a step further on Facebook asking if Virgin would be their valentine. When Virgin stated that the card had come early, KLM responded by saying “Who knows what tomorrow may bring ;)”.
A deal between KLM and Virgin has been rumoured for some time and is considered by many to be an almost perfect strategic alliance. It would certainly boost Virgin Atlantic’s reach into europe. Something that is badly needed after the failure of its Virgin Little Red service.
KLM operate daily flights from Cardiff Airport to connect with the world from Amsterdam.
