Larnaca based carrier Cobalt Air has launched a new service from Larnaca to London Gatwick.
The service will operate 6 days a week (Sa/Su/Mo/Tu/We/Th) and from December, will feature Cobalt Air‘s new business class service which will feature large bespoke business seats in a 2 by 2 configuration which will bring a new level of business comfort to the route.
The Gatwick service is the 3rd UK destination to be served from Cyrpus by Cobalt after Manchester and London Stansted.
Cobalt Air CEO, Andrew Madar said: “Cobalt has quickly become the preferred airline of the Cypriot people, and we can’t wait to show you our great welcome and onboard service as you start your holiday or business trip from London to Cyprus.
I’m very proud of our people too. At Cobalt we know the value of reliability, competitive pricing and a genuine focus on customer care – which was recognised within the global airline community earlier this month. We are genuinely different. Not Legacy, not LCC, just Cobalt.”
Stephen King, Head of Airline Relations, Gatwick Airport, said: “We are delighted to welcome the award-winning Cobalt Air to Gatwick. The regular six day a week service is likely to be popular with both holiday travellers and those flying on business, particularly as the airline offers some impressive airfares and an attractive business class service.”
Cyprus has always been a popular winter destination for UK holidaymakers thanks to its warm winter weather. It’s great for a variety of activities including golf, hiking, sailing, antiquities, wineries, skiing in the Troodos mountains, or simply chilling in a taverna by the sea.
Return fares from Gatwick to Larnaca in December start at just £100 and Cobalt has a “Golf Bags Fly Free” standing offer on all flights this winter from the UK & Ireland to Cyprus.
