Brussels Airlines is to revive the Bristol (BRS/EGGD) to Brussels service that vanished with the collapse of BMI Regional.
Starting from the 1st September 2019 the airline will operate a 6 times per week service from the West Country airport increasing to 12 times per week from 27th October.
The service will be operated on a wet lease basis By Cityjet.
Andreas Koster, Senior Sales Director UK & Ireland for Brussels Airlines said it was an “important expansion” of its parent airline, Lufthansa’s network.
Bristol Airport spokesperson Nigel Scott said: “the service would appeal to passengers travelling for business or leisure”.
