British Airways has unveiled its new first class seat which will it says will form part of the Airbus A380 cabin refit that is due to start rolling out in 2026.
The new ultra-wide seat is 36.5″ wide & 79″ long when in lie-flat bed mode and features a multi-purpose ottoman and stow away table.
A 32″ 4K TV will provide the in-flight entertainment and adjustable mood-lighting will help the passenger to set the ambiance they want for the flight with presets such as “Relax”, “Dine” and “Cinema”.
The entire seat is cocooned inside a 60″ curved wall for privacy and the central, side by side seats have a dividing wall which can be lowered if travelling with a companion to create a shared lounge space.
