British Airways has announced it will be adding a new service from Gatwick Airport to the winter break hotspot Cologne from November 2018.
Cologne is well known for its art, history and architecture along with Christmas markets and the famous chocolate museum. It is home to the six-day street carnival known as “Crazy Days” and you can’t miss out the beer halls.
Adam Carson, British Airways’ Managing Director of Gatwick, said: “Cologne adds another exciting destination to our Gatwick network and is perfect for a winter break. Cologne is becoming increasingly popular due to being a cultural hub and a living textbook on art, history and architecture.”
Fares start from £27 one way, and customers can choose to cut the cost of the flights by using Avios part payment.
These new routes come as British Airways rolls out a £4.5 billion, five-year customer investment plan and follows the rollout of its first fully refreshed Boeing 777 aircraft with brand-new World Traveller seats in new cabins.
