Bristol Airport set for a raft of new airlines in 2023

Bristol Airport is set for an influx of new routes and carriers in 2023 starting with Swiss International launching a route to Zurich in February.

Swiss will operate the route on Saturdays using an Airbus A220.

Summer hotspots will also feature with Sun Express set to launch a twice-weekly service (Wed/Sun) to Antalya from the regional airport using a Boeing 737-800 from March, increasing to three times per week in May.

Antalya is proving popular from Bristol as Sun Express rival Corendon Airlines is also set to launch a twice-weekly flight to the Turkish resort from April also using a Boeing 737-800.

Unlike Sun Express, This service will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Not to be outdone, Greek airline Aegean Airlines will be launching a twice-weekly service to Athens using one of its Airbus A320s.

The Athens service will operate on Mondays and Fridays with an early afternoon departure from Bristol.
