Airbus dominates at 2023 Paris Air Show

IndiGo places huge 500 aircraft order with Airbus

After 5 days of deals, European aerospace giant Airbus has dominated the order books over US rivals Boeing, by some margin.

It was also going to be a tough ask for Boeing to keep up with Airbus given the record breaking IndiGo deal announced on day one but it wasnt all bad news for them.

Airbus dominance is particularly good news for the UK with the wings for all Airbus A3XX aircraft being manafactured in North Wales.

Derby based Rolls-Royce also provides engines for most of rhe modern Airbus fleet.

The single aisle airliner market was most dominant with A320 and 737 families making up the bulk of the orders.

All the major manufacturers won orders at the show which saw thousands of aircraft ordered.
