Airbus begins year with strong delivery rate

Airbus started 2025 by delivering 25 aircraft in January to 17 customers worldwide as well as gaining 55 gross orders.

The Toulouse-headquartered OEM delivered 23 single-aisle airlines including 11 A321neo, seven A320neo, two A319neo and three A220-300 to customers including easyJet, United Airlines, Wizz Air and Delta Airlines.

Widebody deliveries comprised one A350-900 to Emirates and one A350-1000 to Japan Airlines.

Orders for January consisted of the previously reported five Starlux A350F cargo aircraft as well as 25 A320neo (undisclosed customer), one A321neo (undisclosed customer), three A350F (undisclosed customer), six A350-900 (undisclosed customers) and five A350-1000 for Lufthansa.
