Aer Lingus to end Cork flights from Southampton

An Aer Lingus Regional flight operated by Stobart Air

Aer Lingus has said it will end flights between the Irish city of Cork and Southampton Airport (SOU/EGHI) later this year.

The flights, operated by Stobart Air, operates up to five times per week depending on the time of year, will stop on the 20th May 2019.

The airport said it was disappointed by the news which has come about due to poor ticket sales on the route.

Flights until the 20th May will operate as normal and passengers with flights booked after that date will be contacted by the airline and offered alternative flights or a refund.
