A330neo does flypast at Airbus wing factory

Airbus flew the first A330neo up to North Wales today for a flypast at the Airbus UK wing factory.

The A330neo F-WWKM flew past the Broughton site, which is located at Hawarden Airport, just after 12:30 this afternoon. The aircraft is in the colours of launch customer TAP Air Portugal.

The wings of the A330neo are one of the many enhancements on the type which helps increase efficiency. They were built in North Wales using the companies cutting-edge wing facility.

Another Airbus A330neo, F-WTTN, recently visited South Wales to carry out hot fuel trials at Cardiff Airport which its first landing in the UK.
