Manchester Airport to close two terminals

Manchester Airport (MAN/EGCC) has taken the decision to close Terminal 2 & 3 following the reduction in flights caused by the Coronavirus Pandemic. The airport said that the fall-off in flights, and the expectation it will further decline, prompted it to make the decision to change to single terminal operations. [read more]

The Royal Air Force Aerobatic team, the Red Arrows, and a British Airways Boeing 747 delighted the crowds with a flypast at this year’s Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford. The Boeing 747 has been painted in the airline’s predecessor British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) livery to mark British Airways’ centenary this year. This weekend, the Red Arrows are performing in the UK for the final time this season – before embarking on their biggest-ever tour of North America. 2020 Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford cancelled

The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2020 has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The UK’s biggest military air show attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year to RAF Fairford and raises money for the RAF Benevolent Fund. The event had been due to take place in July.
